This project runs most Fridays, just off Coldharbour Lane, on Jon Orrell’s land. We grow veg using a mix of organic and permaculture methods – Tim and myself have had permaculture training and can pass on some practical ideas to anyone interested. Just turn up at Southill Day Centre by 10 am – we go to Coldharbour by minibus and return to Southill by 3 pm. Tim and Dave (staff at Southill) do need to know in advance if more volunteers are coming (you should get a free lunch and Dave’s peanut and grape sandwiches really are something!!), so please contact me for more details if you or some one else wants to come. I go most, but not all, Fridays.
